What is Karuna Reiki®?

Karuna Reiki® is a healing energy that assists us in awakening to Universal compassion.  This includes compassion for yourself, as well as for others. Karuna helps us release judgments, criticisms and unloving thoughts about ourselves, others and world situations.  It helps us accept the fact that all our actions and experiences are part of who we are - part of our Spiritual Journey, and helps us accept and honor even the shadow side of ourselves.   It also helps us develop trust in life and in our Divine Guidance. 

In Karuna Reiki® we discover the power of sound in healing through toning and chanting.  Karuna Reiki® energy goes very deep, gently and quickly so that major healing issues can often be dealt with at a deep cellular level in their energetic form.  Therefore we don't have to re-live unpleasant life situations or intense emotional experiences.  Those who take Karuna Reiki® often have experiences with their guides and angels. 

Karuna Reiki® was developed by William Rand and the International Center for Reiki Training in Southfield, Michigan.  It evolved from the Usui Reiki system, and the Karuna symbols can be merged with and used in conjunction with the Usui Reiki symbols.  In each class you receive an attunement to the Karuna energy, which raises your energetic vibration, and activates the power of the symbols. 

Karuna Reiki® can be used for self healing, in a facilitated session where you treat someone else or can be sent at a distance. 

Karuna Reiki® is taught in 3 separate classes or a combination of all three. 

Class Descriptions

Karuna Reiki® - Practitioner Level 1.

• This level is taught to people who have completed Usui Reiki Levels I, II and III. It is a one day course (8 hours) in which you learn how to draw and activate four sacred Karuna symbols used in treating. These symbols can be used for deep cellular healing, to heal issues of child abuse, and past life issues. You'll learn how to release negative unconscious patterns, addictive behaviors and unwanted parts of our shadow self and replace them with healthy habits and Universal Compassion.
  
• You will learn the power andimportance of sound (through chanting and toning) in healing as well as how to conduct a healing session. You will receive one attunement, which raises your vibration to allow clearer channeling of the Karuna Reiki® Energy, and to activate the power of the symbols. You will receive a class manual and Certificate of Completion at the end of the class.

-Prerequisite: Usui Reiki Levels I, II and III
-Cost:   $200.00 (Can.) incl. HST 

Karuna Reiki® - Practitioner Level 2:

• This level is taught to people who have completed Usui Reiki Levels I, II and III and Karuna Reiki Practitioner Level I. It is a one day course (8 hours) in which you review the four symbols taught in Practitioner Level 1 and learn how to draw and activate four more sacred Karuna symbols used in treating. These symbols will help you align with your higher self, receive clearer guidance and increase your creativity. You'll learn how to manifest your dreams. These symbols will show you how to let go of fear, panic, co-dependency, and insomnia and create peace and trust in life.

• You will learn the power of sound as a healing tool and ways to help heal humanity and the earth. You'll learn how to choose the symbols you would use in a treatment session. This is a powerful class in which your intuitive capabilities are greatly enhanced. You will receive a Class manual as well as a Certificate of Completion at the end of the Class

Karuna Reiki® Master Training:

• Karuna Reiki® Master Training is designed for those who wish to teach Karuna Reiki®. In order to take Karuna Reiki® Master Training you must already be a Usui Reiki Master.
  
• After completing the Karuna Reiki® Master training you will be offered the opportunity to become a "Registered Karuna Reiki® Master" with the International Center for Reiki Training. You will then be able to teach all levels of Karuna Reiki® and to purchase manuals and student certificates from the Center.
  
• This course can be taken in two ways.

Scenario One.

• For someone who has already completed Karuna Reiki® Practitioner Levels 1 and 2, it is a one day course (8 hours). In this course you would review the 8 previously learned treatment symbols and learn how to draw and activate 4 Master symbols. You would receive one master attunement as well as instruction in the art of teaching Karuna Reiki® to your own students. Instruction on how to do the attunements is also provided. You will receive a course manual and the Karuna Reiki® Master Certificate upon completion of this course.

-Prerequisite: Karuna Reiki® Practitioner Levels I and II.
-Cost: 200.00 (Can.) incl. HST

Scenario Two.

• This is a 3 day program (24 hours) of instruction, which includes both the Karuna Reiki® Practitioner Levels and the Reiki Master Training Level, all combined into one class. This is an intensive and powerful training, in which you will learn how to draw and activate a total of 8 sacred symbols used for treating and 4 Master symbols used in attuning other students. You will receive one Master attunement as well as instruction in the art of teaching Karuna Reiki® and performing the attunements for your students. Plenty of practice time is provided. You will receive a course manual and the Karuna Reiki® Master Certificate upon completion of this course.
